‘Care’ is the new single from Wilby, the indie-rock project of songwriter and artist Maria Crawford. The track is a blistering rollercoaster of emotion that lures the listener in with its tender guitar and soft vocal melodies, before building toward intense and heavily distorted screams. “It's about the people I've hurt, and the pain of knowing that, even while giving them so much of myself,” she explains. “That tension is something I think we all feel. Most of us don't mean to hurt each other, we're just trying, imperfectly, to love.” The debut album from Wilby, Center Of Affection, drops on October 10th, 2025, via Hit The North Records. -Dan Peeke
